How Sector Scans Work
Each sector on the celestial map corresponds to a specific deep-space object or planetary system. When you select a sector, you're booking a session focused on that particular observation target.
Sessions are scheduled based on optimal viewing windows when the selected object is highest in the sky and atmospheric conditions are most favorable.
Equipment configurations are adjusted for each sector to maximize visibility and detail capture of the chosen celestial target.
Session Duration
Standard observation sessions last approximately 90 minutes, providing sufficient time for equipment orientation, target location, and detailed observation.
Extended sessions may be available for multiple targets or specialized photography requirements.
Weather conditions are monitored prior to scheduled sessions, with rescheduling options available if viewing conditions are not optimal.
